Glenn Mathewson is the President of BuildingCodeCollege.com, and a contributing author to Code Check 10th edition. Glenn is a former builder, and a former inspector for the City of Westminister, Colorado. He has 17 ICC code certifications, and was only the second person in Colorado to earn the Master Code Professional Certification. He is the author of Deck Construction Based on the 2021 International Residential Code, and a frequent contributor to Fine Homebuilding magazine. Glenn is a highly sought-after instructor on a wide range of building code topics, and presents in-person seminars around the country as well as the offerings on the BuildingCodeCollege.com website. He is presenting several sessions at this year’s International Builder’s Show, sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders.
